Cedar Park Christian’s Joshua Zoellick took second in the 110 hurdles, third in the pole vault and fifth in the discus, while Korinne Zoellick was part of the Eagles’ sixth-place 4×100 relay at the 1A state track-and-field meet over the weekend at Eastern Washington University in Cheney.
Joshua ran the hurdles in 15.37 seconds, cleared 13 feet, three inches in the pole vault and threw the discus 149 feet, 11 inches. Cedar Park’s Tim Abbott placed fourth in the discus at 160-10.
Also for the Eagle boys, the 4×400 relay of Addison Porter, Eric Betz, Michael Holmquist and Evan Abdalla took eighth in 3:37.32.
For the girls, the 4×100 relay of Zoellick, Faith MacDonald, Erin Beezhold and Alyssa Lundberg finished in 51.52.
Mikaela Rashchick placed third in the high jump (5-0) and fourth in the long jump (16-4.25), while Sally Larson took third in the 1,600 run (5:27.19) and eighth in the 800 run (2:33.04).
