Kevin Liu has yet to lose a 100-meter dash this season for the Inglemoor High School boys’ track team.
The junior won the 100-meters with a time of 11.09 seconds at the Northshore Meet with Woodinville High and Inglemoor High on Thursday, April 7, at Woodinville High School. Liu stretched his undefeated streak to three races, and also won the 200-meter dash on Thursday.
He currently holds the second-fastest time set at the Class 4A level in the 100, and the sixth-fastest time in the 200. Liu qualified for state last spring in the 100 meters, finishing 14th overall.

Elsewhere, the Bothell boys had a strong showing.
Bothell’s Jalen Ford won the 110-meter hurdles and the high jump. Bothell senior Patrick Shrum won the shot put, and fellow-Cougar Tucker Wilson won the discus competition.
Alex Nienaber won the 400-meters and Cameron Howard won the 800-meters for Bothell.
Inglemoor junior Jalen Woodley won the 300-meter hurdles and the long jump, clearing 20 feet, 11 inches. Inglemoor’s Noel Azure cleared 12-06 to win the pole vault and Inglemoor’s Connor Robinson won the triple jump.
Woodinville freshman Luke Houser won the 1,600 meter and 3,200 meter races.
Bothell High was equally as impressive on the girls’ side.
Senior Sophie Bowles won the 200 and 400 meter races, while junior Emma Gagliardi won the 100 meters. Meghan Tveit won the 800 meters and Jessi Zemp won the 1,600 meters, and Brielle DeRosia won the 3,200 meters.
Bothell’s Emily Gibson won the 300 meter hurdles, won the triple jump, and combined with Elivia Balch, Paiton Sabatini, and Gagliardi to win the 4×100 meter relay.
Inglemoor senior Ruby Charney won the shot put and discus competitions, and Elizabeth Su won the long jump for Inglemoor.
Next, Inglemoor is scheduled to attend the Arcadia Invitational on April 8 and 9 in Arcadia, Calif., while Bothell is scheduled to take part in the Pasco Invitational on April 16 in Pasco.
