Six Inglemoor wrestlers, one from Bothell headed to state/Wrestling, Gymnastics

Inglemoor High will send six wrestlers to this weekend's Mat Classic state tournament at the Tacoma Dome: Anthony Bratcher (135 pounds), Ian Bedo (140), Olivia Burton (152), Ben Grabowski (171), Josh Koukal (189) and Ben Carson (215).

Inglemoor High will send six wrestlers to this weekend’s Mat Classic state tournament at the Tacoma Dome: Anthony Bratcher (135 pounds), Ian Bedo (140), Olivia Burton (152), Ben Grabowski (171), Josh Koukal (189) and Ben Carson (215).

Bothell’s Brandon Davidson will wrestle at 145.

Inglemoor took fourth at Saturday’s 4A region II district meet at Skyline High with 93 points. Mikey Ramos of Graham-Kapowsin pinned Carson in 2 minutes, 13 seconds in the 215 final.

• In gymnastics, Bothell High’s Raynie Hultgren placed fourth all-around with 35.9 points in the 4A Sea-King district meet on Saturday at Sammamish High.

Newport won the team title (171.425) to qualify for state, Woodinville took second (169.825) and Bothell placed third (159.7).

Hultgren qualifies for this weekend’s state meet at the Tacoma Dome Exhibition Center, as well.
