Girls tennis

Inglemoor High showed its power in singles, winning all six positions against Juanita High with a 6-3 victory April 30.

The Lady Vikings captured four team points in straight-set wins led by Jasmine Singh and Rachel McCarthy. Singh dominated with a 6-0, 6-0 victory followed by McCarthy then Alanna Francis to give the Viks three quick team points. Katie Coles, Shannon Cebron and Meg Linder completed the singles sweep by outlasting their opponents in three sets.

Boys soccer

Yordan Rivera scored two goals and assisted on Alan Villavicencio’s netter to give Bothell High a 3-2 win over Woodinville High last week.

In other action, Bothell and Inglemoor played to a 1-1 overtime draw on goals from Cole Correll (Bothell) and Michael Axelson (Inglemoor).

CEDAR PARK CHRISTIAN

Baseball

To start its week, Cedar Park played Sultan last Monday afternoon, but the Eagles couldn’t pull through and left with a 10-5 loss.

Cedar Park battled its rival Bellevue Christian last Tuesday evening and suffered a 7-2 loss. Sophomore Ben Circeo had one double.

With little action, Cedar Park battled University Prep last Friday, but took home a 5-2 loss.

Softball

The Lady Eagles took home a close 5-4 loss to Sultan last Monday. Sophomore Amy Timm had a double while junior Shannae Stafford had three hits and one run.

Matched against their rivals, Cedar Park struggled to maintain a lead against opponent Bellevue Christian. Even with star player Stafford on the field, the Eagles lost the game, 11-2. Stafford had one hit.

Girls golf

Led by junior Hyein Lee, the Eagles defeated Bush, 31-54.

Track and field

In a meet last Saturday, two Eagle girls qualified to participate in the Lake Washington Invitational: sophomore Mikaela Raschick and freshman Korinne Zoellick. Raschick came in 12th place in the high jump with a height of 4 feet, 10 inches. Zoellick took on the pole vault and lifted 8 feet, beating her previous record.

• The Cedar Park boys set out for their own meet last Saturday at Shoreline Stadium. In the 200 meters, senior Jordan Scholten came in 24th with a time of 24.19 seconds. In the high jump, senior Josh Moore took 23rd place with a height of 5-8. Junior Michael Tang took 35th in the triple jump with a leap of 29-11.25.
