Northshore Little League AAA Dodgers notch Summer Slam title

The Northshore Little League AAA Dodgers won the Summer Slam championship with a 10-7 victory over the Yankees on June 13. The Dodgers rebounded from a 7-0 deficit going into the bottom of the third inning.

After losing their first game of the tournament, the Dodgers moved into the losers bracket and won six consecutive games to notch the title.

The Dodgers — who finished the regular season with a 7-2 record — range between second to fourth grade and attend Northshore-area elementary schools.
