Michael Mendenhall, an Inglemoor High School graduate from 2013 and former Viking cross country runner, helped his team to place third this past weekend at the Division II Cross Country Championships.

Michael was the fifth runner for his team University of Alaska Anchorage and placed 68th overall in a time of 30-minutes, 59-seconds over 10,000 meters in Joplin, Miss.

Mendenhall ran cross country and track for Inglemoor for three years, was a three time state competitor and holds the 1,600-meter school record.
