The offensive output from Bothell High outside hitter Piercen Lundquist was too much for Redmond to handle as she slammed 16 kills in a 3-1 Cougar road win last night on game scores of 25-17, 25-17, 22-25, 25-20.
Sarah Baillargeon recorded a team-high 11 digs and four aces, while Lexie Bedell notched six kills.
The win evened Bothell’s record at 2-2 in 4A Kingco play and 3-3 overall.
After Inglemoor swept the Mustangs in three games on Tuesday, the tables got turned last night as they lost to Eastlake 3-0.
Julian Sellard recorded eight kills in the loss, followed by Emily Carpenter with five, as Eastlake and Inglemoor joined Bothell in a four-way tie for fifth place in the league at 2-2.
Bothell, Inglemoor golfers drop league matches
In 4A Kingco golf action on Thursday, Inglemoor fell to Newport at The Golf Club at Newcastle 197-210, and Bothell lost to Issaquah at Snoqualmie Falls 192-202.
For Inglemoor, Cole Hublou fired a 1-over 37 to lead the team, followed by Shane Derrick (42), Kyle McCaul (43) and Ryan Mydske (44).
For Bothell, Max Tuckner was low man with 39, followed by Drew Mahrt and Jake Storer with 40.
