Kenmore, Bothell athletes and coach represented on all-league basketball teams

Inglemoor High head coach Kristina Schumacher was named 4A KingCo girls coach of the year.

Also for the Vikings, Lucy Young is the defensive player of the year and second-teamer, Jenna Troy is a first-teamer and Abby Haller and Colbi Zorich are honorable mentions.

Other locals honored are second-teamers Kelsey Hudson and Caitlin Monten from North Creek, and honorable mentions Brandy White from North Creek and Devon Lipkin from Bothell.

On the boys’ side, Inglemoor’s Zach Shimek and Peter Hansen are first-teamers; North Creek’s Andrew Mazzawi and Bothell’s Myles Phillips are second-teamers; and Bothell honorable mentions are Spencer Wright, Quinten Young and Austen Cartwright.

• In 1A Cascade Conference honors, Cedar Park Christian’s Irena Korolenko earned co-MVP honors with Claire Gallagher of King’s. Cedar Park’s Sela Flynn was a first-teamer and Parker Reymore was named to the all-sportsmanship team.

On the Cedar Park boys’ side, Adam Lynch was named coach of the year, Luke Allen made the first team and Ryan Baker notched second-team honors.
