Inglemoor High’s Maria Stoica finished 10th at the 4A state golf tournament at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco. She shot an 80 during Thursday’s second round following Wednesday’s first-round 72.

In the 4A boys tournament at Canyon Lakes Golf Course in Kennewick, Bothell’s John Pechan shot 80-80-160 and finished tied for 43rd.

Singh loses two straight at state

Inglemoor High’s Jasmine Singh won a thrilling first set , 7-6 (12-10), but dropped the next two to Anna Lambert of Gonzaga Prep, 6-0, 6-2, to exit the girls 4A state tennis tournament last Friday at the Tri-City Court Club in Kennewick. Sandy Dennett of Auburn defeated Singh, 6-3, 6-4, in the first round.
