The Inglemoor High School Cross Country team won the “Class Act” Sportsmanship Award during the Seaside Invitational.
They were recognized for outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship and school spirit. The team is led by captains Abby Baker, Hannah Sholseth, Evans Ousley, Katie Diekema, Kyle McCrohan, Andy Seckinger, Chris Dymek and Blake Slattengren.
Amber Rose of Inglemoor placed second overall at the Tomahawk Twilight Invitational on Saturday. She ran the 5,000-meters course in 18 minutes, 16 seconds. She led her team to an eighth-place finish. Slattengren placed the boys, placing eighth overall with a time of 16:03. He led the team to a 12th-place finish.
