The Inglemoor girls tennis team topped Bothell Tuesday 4-3 behind strong play from its top athletes.

Inglemoor won the No.1 and 2 singles matches as Sabrina Demerath defeated Colleen Byrne 6-0, 6-0and Janae Chinn beat Erica Talkano 6-1, 6-1. Bothell’s Rachelle Wharf beat Lulu Talmedge 6-2, 4-6, 6-1, while Cougar Naemi Herzog defeated Madison Chan 6-0, 6-2.

In doubles play, Inglemoor’s Christy Hanson and Hannah Talmage beat Madi MacKenzie and Chelsea Dinndorf 6-0, 6-1 and Viking teammates Maria Fox and Emily Ji defeated Baylee Bissenden and Jana Phipps 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 to clinch the team competition. Bothell’s Carla Carmena Ramal and Kelby Pierce beat Vicki Goldenburg and Heather Jackson, 6-0, 6-2.
