The Inglemoor High School volleyball team held Garfield to just 40 points during three games Wednesday at home. The 3-0 victory pushes Inglemoor’s record back to .500 (3-3) on the season.

The Vikings began the match with a dominating 25-9 victory. Garfield got a little closer during the second game 25-12 and even closer during the third game 25-19 but was never a real threat.

Inglemoor was led by Zoe Kendall with 30 assists and Haley Harris with 11 kills. But the defense was what prevented the Bulldogs from never getting close, as Kate Carpenter and Hannah McCausland combined for 28 digs during the short competition.

Inglemoor will travel to Monroe High School for a tournament at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
