After a dismal start to the season the Inglemoor boys basketball team is hitting its stride, including a 74-51 win at Redmond High School Friday night.
The Vikings put the pedal down during the first quarter, running past the Mustangs with a 19-7 first-quarter advantage. The Vikings built on that lead during the third quarter, outscoring Redmond 23-11.
The fourth quarter was a track meet as Redmond scored more than the Vikings for the first time during any quarter with a 25-21 advantage.
Inglemoor was led by Trey Miller (22 points) and Brendan Lauck (20). Teammate Chris Bryant scored 13 points.
With the win the Vikings return to .500 with a 4-4 in-league record and 7-7 overall.
