Inglemoor High School graduate Amy Taylor, a junior catcher at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, has been named to the 2013 All-University Athletic Association Softball Team.

Taylor turned in the best season of her career with a .388 batting average, a home run and 28 RBI.

Behind the plate, the third-year backstop threw out 20 runners attempting to steal and recorded a number of key pickoff plays during the final weeks of the season.

The Spartans (24-13) finished the regular season with 11 wins in a row and 15 victories in their last 16 games overall.
