The Inglemoor girls fired up 23 big points in the fourth quarter on Tuesday night at Juanita High School in the consolation semifinals against Issaquah, but fell just short in the end, 66-65, ending their season.

The Vikings trailed 48-42 after three, but the Eagles’ attack, led by the game-high 25 of sophomore guard Monica Landdeck, did just enough to win.

For Inglemoor, Kelly Conroy led with 19, as Sacramento State-bound Taylor Peacocke adding 17 in her final Viking game.

Inglemoor finished the season 17-6 overall, which included a 12-3 record in 4A Kingco play.

Cedar Park girls routed by Lynden Christian

The road to the 1A state tournament just got tougher for the Cedar Park Christian girls’ team as they lost 59-33 to red-hot Lynden Christian on Tuesday night at home.

The Lyncs got off to a fast start, scoring 22 points in the opening frame while holding the Eagles to just six, and extending the lead in the second half.

Rachel Staudacher led the Eagles with 15, with Madison Parmenter adding 10.

The girls now must win at home on Thursday night against Vashon Island in order to secure a berth to the one-game regional playoff, which will be played on Saturday, Feb. 25.

The Vashon-Cedar Park game will begin at 7 p.m.
