Inglemoor earns overtime win against Roosevelt | Prep girls soccer

The Inglemoor High School girls soccer team defeated Roosevelt in overtime 3-2 on Tuesday at the Northeast Athletic Complex.

The Inglemoor High School girls soccer team defeated Roosevelt in overtime 3-2 on Tuesday at the Northeast Athletic Complex.

The Vikings struck first during the contest, as Ellie Pickering assisted Abby Morrow at the 13th minutes of the game for the first goal. Roosevelt tied the game 20 minutes later.

Morrow struck again, this time assisted by teammate Emma Spenser, two minutes before half time.

A late goal by Roosevelt tied the game at 2-2 but did not discourage the Vikings. Four minutes into overtime Careena Alaoui assisted teammate Sam Podlucky for the game-winning goal.

Inglemoor will host Garflied at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
