The Inglemoor High School girls basketball team lost a heart breaking one-point game Tuesday in Sammamish. Eastlake used a hot fourth quarter to upend the Vikings, 46-45.
Both teams began the game slow on offense, as they combined for 16 first-quarter points. The Vikings continued to struggle during the second quarter, scoring just six points and falling behind 20-15 entering halftime.
But a strong third quarter of play saw Inglemoor double up the Wolves 16-8 and take a slim three-point lead before Eastlake found a rhythm during the final eight minutes of play.
Inglemoor was led by Alex Hagen and Mackenzie Gardner, who each had 12 points. Teammate Deja Strother had 10 points during the game.
