There is nothing like home cooking – especially in the playoffs. The Inglemoor High School softball team crushed Skyline 12-1 during a 4A KingCo tournament game at home on Monday.

Inglemoor scored two in the first, three in the second, six in the third and one in the fourth to force a rare mercy rule finish to the KingCo tournament game.

Holly Sandborg led the Vikings on offense, going 3-for-3 with three RBI and a double. Allison Harrington earned the win from the pitching circle, throwing five innings, giving up just five hits and one earned run, while striking out four batters.

Each team finished with two errors.
