The Inglemoor High School volleyball team won the first game of its match against Edmonds-Woodway but could not maintain the momentum in a 3-1 loss on Tuesday.

The Inglemoor High School volleyball team won the first game of its match against Edmonds-Woodway but could not maintain the momentum in a 3-1 loss on Tuesday.

The Vikings looked like they could dominate the contest with a 25-21 victory to start the match but Edmonds-Woodway pulled out a close second game 26-24 and then used that confidence to take the next two games, 25-22 and 25-23.

Haley Harris led the team on offense with nine kills, while Whitnee Wheat had 21 digs.

Inglemoor will host Monroe at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
