The Inglemoor girls soccer team fell behind 2-0 Thursday night in Redmond, and despite a big comeback, the Mustangs finished off the Vikings with a late goal, 3-2.
Redmond built a big lead with an early goal during the 15th minute and then a second goal just after halftime during the 41st minute.
Inglemoor’s Kaylee Maukstad took a pass from teammate Emma Spencer during the 60th minute and put it into the back of the Mustang net to cut the lead in half. Maukstad returned the favor during the 70th minute with a pass to Spencer, who tied the game at 2-2.
But the Vikings gave up a goal during the 75th minute and never recovered.
The loss drops Inglemoor to 2-4-1 in 4A KingCo league play and 6-4-2 overall.
