Jefferson earned a late goal Saturday afternoon to end the Inglemoor boys soccer team’s Cinderella run through the post season.
The Vikings gave up a goal during the 75th minute of play and could not recover to tie the game before the end of regulation at Memorial Stadium in Federal Way.
Inglemoor, which played its best soccer of the year during the postseason, was just two wins from the state title game.
The Vikings upset undefeated Skyline to take the 4A KingCo tournament title and then defeated Puyallup for its first state tournament victory in six years.
Inglemoor finished the regular season with a 7-2-1 record and 12-3-1 record overall.
