The Inglemoor High School girls basketball team outscored Bothell 18-10 Friday during a furious fourth-quarter comeback to defeated rival Bothell, 54-49, in Kenmore.

The Inglemoor High School girls basketball team outscored Bothell 18-10 Friday during a furious fourth-quarter comeback to defeated rival Bothell, 54-49, in Kenmore.

Bothell played well during the first eight minutes, building a 15-10 lead heading into the second quarter. Inglemoor got back within one point of its visitors by halftime.

The Cougars extended their lead to 39-36 during a very competitive third quarter but it would be the final eight minutes of play that would be definitive.

Inglemoor was led by Deja Strother with 19 points, Chijoke Emeka with 13 and Alex Hagen with 11.

Bothell’s high scorers were Randi Dixon with 14 points and Brenda Akoto with 13.
