The Bothell girls basketball team scored less during the first half than Skyline scored during the first quarter of their blowout loss, 64-42, on Wednesday at Bothell High School.
The Cougars scored 13 points during the half, compared to 14 points for Skyline during the first quarter. A 23-point second quarter sank the Cougars chances for a win, but the team kept playing hard and kept pace with the Spartans during the second half.
