The Bothell High School volleyball team won its first game against Jackson 25-22 but lost the match 3-1 on Thursday at Jackson High School.

Jackson won the final three games of the match by holding the Cougars to 21 or fewer points.

Bothell was led by Hailey Crane with 14 kills and Reese Laufasa with 34 assists. Karly Ernster finished with 11 kills.

Bothell will try to get back into the win column at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Kentwood High School.
