The Inglemoor High baseball team committed a pair of costly errors and left five runners on base in a 4-0 KingCo 4A loss to Eastlake High on Friday in Kenmore.
Eastlake took a 1-0 lead in the second inning when the Vikings made an error at shortstop. A second error, this time at home plate, opened the door for a second Eastlake run.
Jeremy Shoenfield, Grant Harris and Willie Decourcy picked up hits for Inglemoor. Tyler Williams got the start for Inglemoor, going four innings and giving up five hits with two strikeouts.
Alec Gomez pitched a complete game for Eastlake with three hits, seven strikeouts and no walks in seven innings.
Next, Inglemoor is scheduled to play at 4 p.m. at Newport High on Monday, April 11.
