Inglemoor High had the top two local girls and boys runners in Tansey Lystad and Ryan Rinaldi and the Viking girls and boys varsity cross-country teams finished third and sixth, respectively, at last Saturday’s Bellevue Invitational at Lake Sammamish Park.
Bothell’s boys finished fourth and the Cougar girls took 17th in the 38-team event.
On the girls’ side, Lystad ran the 5,000-meter course in 19 minutes, 14.37 seconds, good for fifth place in the #1-2 division. Other top Viks were Kyra Burke, Erin Allen, Sara Nash and Sara McCrohan. Tops for Bothell were Kareena Dahl, Alison Coombs and Angie Marioui.
For the boys, Rinaldi took 12th in the #1-2 division with a time of 17:01.97, followed by Bothell’s Nathan Conrad in 13th with a 17:04.52. Other top locals were Chris Arneson, James LeGresley and Jerry Zhu (Bothell) and Colin O’Neil, Michael Mendenhall and Erik Boling (Inglemoor).
