The Bothell High School boys basketball team kept rolling Monday by winning the Bothell Holiday Tournament title, 45-42, against Ballard. Cougar Josh Martin was named tournament MVP.
Bothell came out strong during the first quarter, building a six-point lead. The team held on to three points of that lead heading into the second half.
But the second half was all about the Cougar defense, as it held Ballard to single digits in scoring during each of the third and fourth quarters.
Martin led Bothell with 16 points, while teammate Ross Bowers scored nine points.
