The Bothell High School football team maintained its undefeated record in style Friday with a 56-0 victory against Skyline in Issaquah.
From the first “drive” of the game, Bothell dominated the field of play. The Cougars opened the scoring with an 83-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ross Bowers to Dayzell Wilson.
A 31-yard touchdown pass from Bowers to Sam McPherson quickly made it 14-0.
Next, McPherson hit the end zone on his own with a 13-yard run.
Bowers found Jackson Keimig for a 37-yard touchdown pass and a 28-0 first-quarter lead.
The second quarter was more of the same, as Bowers threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Wilson.
McPherson picked up his third score of the game on a 19-yard run to push the lead to 42-0 by halftime.
Bothell would score once during the third and once during the forth quarter as they preserved the shutout.
No individual stats were reported.
The Cougars improved to 7-0 with the victory and will continue in search of a perfect season as they travel to Mercer Island on Oct. 24 to take on the Islanders at 7 p.m.
