The Cedar Park Christian boys basketball team scored 25 points during the fourth quarter Friday but it was not enough to erase a dismal second quarter, losing at Granite Falls 64-61.
The Eagles began the game with a nine-point lead but that evaporated as the home team outscored Cedar Park 22-10 during the second quarter.
Granite Falls extended that lead during the third quarter and held on during an offensive explosion for the Eagles during the final eight minutes of play.
Tim Larson (13 points), David McLaurin (12), Conner Renstrom (10) and Jack Flynn (10) all scored in double figures for the Eagles.
