In the midst of the high school football season, Bothell’s Pop Keeney Stadium will play host to a NCAA Division II football matchup between Central Washington University and Azusa Pacific this Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

The game, which was supposed to be played in Ellensburg, was moved to Bothell due to poor air quality caused by wildfires blazing in the Kittitas Valley region.

“The Northshore School District has been very gracious to collaborate with us to use their beautiful stadium,” said Wildcats’ athletics director Jack Bishop. “We hope that our fans from not only the university and Ellensburg but the west side as well will come out to support us. This creates a great opportunity for alumni and friends of CWU in western Washington to see the Wildcats play.”

Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the gate, and tickets will also be sold at the stadium box office for $12 (adults), $7 (seniors 65 and over) and $5 (students). Gates open at 11 a.m.

Pop Keeney Stadium is located at 9809 Northeast 188th Street in Bothell and is home to the Bothell, Inglemoor and Woodinville High School football teams.
