The Cedar Park Christian girls basketball team lost a heartbreaker in Puyallup Friday, 47-45, to Cascade Christian.
The evenly-matched teams played shot-for-shot during the first quarter. Cascade took the slimmest of leads into halftime 21-19.
The Eagles tied the game going into the fourth quarter by it wasn’t enough as Cascade controlled the tempo just enough to squeak out the victory during the final eight minutes of play.
Emily Massad led all Eagles with 12 points, while Laura Goodnight put in 10 points.
