The Cedar Park Christian girls soccer team won their 1A district tournament game Tuesday night at home. The Eagles beat Lynden Christian 3-2 in a shootout.
Lynden Christian got on the scoreboard first, scoring a goal during the 26th minute of play. But the Eagles earned two goals just before halftime to take the lead. Cedar Park’s McKenzie Mills was assisted by Kristen Barclay during the 37th minute and then three minutes later Michelle Mayer scored unassisted.
Lynden Christian would force overtime with a goal during the 70th minute.
