Alex Ballard scored more goals during the first 24 minutes of Cedar Park’s game with Eatonville than many soccer players score in an entire season. Ballard peppered the opposition’s goal for five scores as the Eagles won the contest 8-1.
Ballard’s first goal came on an assist by teammate Nathan Smith during the 10th minute of play. The score followed a Kyler McIntosh goal during the seventh minute of play, assisted by Jeremiah Hawkins. Ballard returned three minutes later for a goal with an assist by Josh Christianson. It took even less time to complete the hat trick, as Hawkins assisted during the 14th minute of play.
Eatonville would get in the board during the 16th minute but Ballard would crush the visiting team’s hopes for a comeback with his four goal, unassisted, during the 14th minute. Ballard would add a fifth goal during the 48th minute on an assist by Jack McDonald.
But Eagles were not done. Cedar Park’s David Grigoryan scored unassisted (37th minute) and Hawkinson scored on assist by Sam Ionesi (44th minute).
