The Cedar Park Christian boys basketball team defeated Kalama, 59-51, in the Yakima SunDome on Wednesday as part of the annual holiday tournament.

The team from Bothell led from start to finish, taking a six-point lead during the first quarter and then extending the advantage to 14 points by halftime. Kalama made a slight comeback during the second half but the deficit was too much for the team to tie the Eagles.

Jaden Sheffey led the team with 15 points, while teammate Drew McLaurin had 11 points.
