The Cedar Park Christian boys basketball team beat Vashon Island on Tuesday, 63-47, to open the regular season.

Christian pulled out to a nine point advantage by the end of the first quarter, 22-13, but lost momentum during the second quarter, scoring just nine points.

The Eagles doubled Vashon’s point total during the third quarter, cruising to the victory.

Trey Drechsel led the Eagles with 20 points, while Isiah Penchion scored 14 and Luke Sauterer put up 10.
