The Cedar Park Christian baseball team beat Meridian 3-2 to win the Class 1A District 1 tournament on Saturday, May 14 at Joe Martin Field in Bellingham.

Michael Attalah pitched a complete game for the Eagles (16-6), who now advance to the first round of the state tournament. The Eagles are scheduled to play Kings Way Christian on at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 21 at Volunteer Park in Anacortes.

Cedar Park beat Lynden Christian 2-1 and Nooksack Valley 1-0 to reach the district title game. The Eagles currently ride a seven-game winning streak.
