The Cedar Park Christian girls basketball team defeated South Whidbey, 44-29, Tuesday in Bothell.

The teams came out of the first quarter tied at 8-8 but Cedar Park got the hot shooting hand, scoring 20 points during the third quarter. South Whidbey was unable to keep pace despite the teams combining for 10 points during the final eight minutes of play.

Cedar Park was led by Kristen Barclay with 18 points and Sasha Korlenko with 11 points.
