A two-point effort during the second quarter cost the Bothell High School girls basketball team Friday, losing to Woodinville 46-37.
The Cougars began the game strong, only falling behind by one basket during the first quarter. But the team’s offense fell apart during the second quarter, scoring just one time during the entire eight minutes of play. Bothell could never narrow the gap far enough to get back into the game, despite a 24-20 second-half advantage.
