The Bothell High School football team will have to get past an old arch enemy if the players want to continue on during the state tournament. The Cougars have drawn Bellermine Prep, a team that has bounced Bothell from the tournament two of the past three years, during their quarterfinal game this weekend.

The game will be held at Mt. Tahoma High School in Tacoma with a 1 p.m. kickoff on Saturday.

Bothell players will be looking for some payback after the Lions beat them last year, 35-30, during the second round of the state playoffs. The Cougars also lost to Prep in 2010, 28-21, during the quarterfinals of state.

Both Bothell and Bellermine Prep have 9-2 records over all.

Bothell defeated Graham-Kapowsin, 52-28, on Friday, while the Lions beat Newport 38-35 on Saturday during the round of 16.
