Bothell will host Union of Camas at 7 p.m. tonight in a bi-district football game at Pop Keeney Stadium.
Bothell lost to Skyline in last Friday’s 4A Kingco championship game and is 7-2 overall, as is Camas of the Greater St. Helens League.
Camas began the season with a 20-6 loss to Bellevue Sept. 4 in the Emerald City League Classic at Qwest Field. The Titans then won seven straight games — with an average of 39.7 points a game — before losing to Skyview, 37-34, last Friday.
“Union is a very good team. They are big and physical and well-coached and sound on both sides of the ball. We will need to play well to advance to the next round. It should be a great game,” Bothell coach Tom Bainter said.
Tops for Bothell is running back Luke Proulx with 20 touchdowns (19 running and one receiving); heading into the Skyline game, he had 135 carries for 1,090 yards.
On the passing front, quarterback Braden Foley has thrown for 14 touchdowns, eight of them to receiver Trent Sewell. Prior to the Skyline matchup, Foley was 65-for-120 for 1,187 yards.
