The Bothell High School girls basketball team stayed just ahead of Roosevelt during the team’s game on Wednesday. The Cougars won the game 52-35 in Bothell.
Bothell got off to a slow start on offense but its defense made up for it as the home team took a 10-6 lead. The Cougars continued to stay ahead of the Roughriders, finishing the first half with a 23-14 lead. Bothell extended its lead by four points during both the third and fourth quarters.
Randi Dixon (12 points), Taya Corosdale (11 points) and Hannah Tyndall (10 points) led the Cougars in scoring.
