Bothell outlasts Inglemoor at Kingco tourney / Boys Basketball

In a crucial loser-out game of the 4A Kingco basketball tournament at Juanita High on Friday afternoon, Bothell High rode senior standout Dominic Ballard and his stellar 21-point performance to a 43-40 victory over Inglemoor High.

The back-and-forth game turned around in the third quarter, when the Cougars stifled Inglemoor’s offense to just seven points and were to able to hold on for the victory.

For the Vikings, Andy Nwaelele scored a team-high 12, with Eric Bryant and Jerry Molina adding 10.

The Vikings finished the season 12-10 overall, while the Cougars (11-11) advance to play Woodinville at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday night in a loser-out game at Juanita High.
