The Bothell High School girls softball team lost the final game of the regular season Wednesday, 6-5, to Eastlake in Sammamish.
The Cougars took a 3-0 lead during the top of the second inning only to have the home team score two runs during the bottom of the second inning. That score held until the top of the seventh when Bothell extended the lead to 5-2. But Eastlake would come back once again, scoring four runs during its final at-bat of the game.
Cougars Megan Lucky and Megan Morino each blasted a home run during the contest and teammate Julia Warner went 2-for-4 at the plate.
