The Bothell High School girls basketball team lost a heart breaker to Woodinville Friday, 50-49.
The Cougars started the game slow, scoring just six first-quarter points. But the team got into a better groove during the second quarter, keeping pace with the Falcons to head into halftime down just four, 24-20.
Bothell chipped away at the small Woodinville lead during the third quarter by scoring 19, but the Falcons managed to stay just head of the Cougars.
Taya Corosdale led Bothell with 17 points, while teammate Erin Burns had 11 points.
