The Bothell High Cougars and Woodinville High Falcons battled point-for-point on the volleyball court at Bothell High Oct. 13, but it was the Cougars that pulled out the dramatic five-game win, 25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 21-25, 15-13 (tiebreak).

For Bothell, Piercen Lundquist and Haley Bedell tied with a game-high 18 kills, Allie Hadley notched 36 assists and Hope Frazier led the team with 15 digs.

On Monday, the Cougars swept Garfield 3-0 at Garfield High on games of 25-13, 26-24 and 25-20. Lundquist slammed home 13 kills, Frazier recorded 21 point-saving digs and Katie Arneson led all players with three service aces.

With the wins, Bothell improved to 4-5 in 4A Kingco league play (5-8 overall).
