Bothell girl places 6th at national track and field championship

Bothell resident Lauren Stavig recently placed 6th in long jump at the AAU National Club track and field championship at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. with a jump of 16 feet, four inches.

Bothell resident Lauren Stavig recently placed 6th in long jump at the AAU National Club track and field championship at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. with a jump of 16 feet, four inches.

Stavig, age 13, will be in the 8th grade at Skyview Junior High this fall.

She participated in track and field at Skyview Junior High and also competes in AAU and USATF (USA track and field) track meets in the summer.
