The Bothell High School volleyball team was shutout Tuesday by Eastside Catholic 3-0 during its first road game of the season.

The Crusaders held the Cougars to 18 points during the first game and 19 during the second. With their collective backs against the wall, the Cougars made a run at Eastside Catholic but ultimately fell short during the third and decisive game 25-21.

No other results were reported.

Bothell will travel to Edmonds Woodway High School for a 7 p.m. game on Thursday in search of its first win.
