The Bothell High School girls basketball team’s season came to an end with a 49-45 loss to Walla Walla during the state tournament on Friday in the Tacoma Dome.
The two teams played close during the entire game but Bothell trailed after the first eight minutes by four points. But it was free throws that were the difference in the game, as Walla Walla outscored Bothell, 18-6.
Taya Corosdale got back on track from the team’s first state tournament game to score 18 points and lead the Cougars. Kenyonna Jones finished with 14 points for Bothell.
