The Bothell High School girls softball team edged Redmond, 7-6, behind 11 hits and a home run on Wednesday in Redmond.
Redmond began the game with a 2-0 lead but tied the game by the top of the fourth inning. The teams exchanged leads until the seventh when Bothell took a 7-5 lead and held on through the bottom of the inning.
Kelsie Morgan knocked in three runs during the game while Olivia Aasen hit a solo home run for the Cougars. Bothell hitters Alex Farmer and Megan Morino collected two hits each.
