The Bothell High School girls soccer team shutout Decatur behind goalkeeper Sara Christensen, 3-0, on Saturday at Decatur High School in Federal Way.

The Cougars waited until the second half to give Christensen a lead. Bothell’s Meghan Tveit found teammate Breanna Nguye and assisted her in giving Bothell the game’s first goal during the 46th minute of play. Teveit then found another teammate, Maddie Williams, just nine minutes later for her second assist of the game.

Erin McElligot put the finishing touches on the win with an unassisted goal during the 70th minute of play.

The Cougars will take on Woodinville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Pop Keeney Stadium.
